Yellow roses from my flower bed...ain't they purdy? ;o)



These were taken during the worst part of the day with lots of harsh sun and shadows. I shouldn't have done it then, but what the heck...I like flowers! ;o)

edit: I called two of them "morning" whatever because it sounded better than "mid-afternoon" ;o)

Love the 2nd and 3rd especially!! They look awesome on my monitor here at work. You are getting great macros and DOF with the Kodak!!!!

I'm partial to #1 and #3. All three have nice color, good DoF, atc.

(Now all you need to do is perch a frog on top, eating a dead bug - while a motorcycle jumps in the background.)

And all this time I thought that YOU were the yellow rose of Texas. ;-) Thanks for posting those pics. They're all beautiful, but I especially like the first one.
