Ok I got another one I would like to know what people think.

This is super, Dave!. It would have likely been in the top 5 for Deep Depth of Field. The foreground gravel and those fabulous clouds really lend a 3D effect. What does the color version look like? If the bridge is brightly colored, this would have been strong for Selective Desaturation, too. Nice job.

Here is the original unedited. It seemed kinda flat, and I've been in a black & white kinda mood lately, so I made a few changes.
I would have loved to enter this into the deep DOF challenge but this was taken about two weeks before the challenge. The good ones are never on time for me,..., sigh!:D

That's a stunning shot, Dave! I prefer the B&W one...the sky is amazing. Great shot; would have done well in the challenge if you could have reshot during the challenge dates. :o)

I like them both. I am not a huge fan of B&W unless it is absolutely needed. I can see why you used it in this case. The color one in this case is a little flat. It makes me want to go to the ocean!

This is a nice shot and I would like it either in color (with a few adjustments of course) or black and white but your black and white shot seems a bit over the top on the contrast. The black sky in the top compared to the lighter sky in the back seems backwards to me for some reason, can't quite explain why. Did you play with the color version at all? I too have been in a black and white/sepia toned mood as of late but I have been playing with all three versions on a shot too see how they come out. Here is an example of what I'm talking about:

I have one other version that I haven't uploaded yet that is more of a soft focus with muted colors, I will look for it and try to get it uploaded.

I really like the sepia one the best, it adds that little extra intrest that the color one seems to be missing.
