In case you haven't been following the June macro side challenge, I wanted to share what I did for the challenge.

I bought a bunch of mini figures (HO scale, just less than 1 inch high) at a model shop. I've had fun placing them in different situations and you can see them in my portfolio here.

Here are some of my favourites:

I love them all Karen. They are not only well photographed and pped, they are fun - pure fun. Some of them really make me smile and then other set ups make me just stand back in awe of your creativity. Thanks for sharing.

Bear, I totally agree with you .. I wrote that in one of Karen's posts awhile back in the macro thread - I would buy it in a heart beat for my grandsons.

I believe you could find a market for a self-published book of these...

There is indeed i'd say. The images are great. The artist Slinkachu has had much success with exhibitions and books using a similar style, although his images are grittier and often have a political aspect to them and are squarely aimed at the art market. Definitely a market for the lighter fun, images you've produced.

Great Stuff! Your imagination and mastery of the camera really shows! Love them!

I played with these little figures some time ago and even entered a challenge with one.
It was too weird for most voters.:)

You have inspired me to try again.

They are great, Karen!
I've been searching for a good set of those figures for ages - I want some with a little facial detail, but can only find either soldiers or guys without eyes etc :-(

Here is another one on DPC that I've enjoyed looking at:

They're brilliant! I really like the caption (and picture) on this:

But I am partial to the occasional bottle of wine and mostly find them too small :)
