I think most of us have been continuing offstage. At least several of the folks I've been working with have significantly improved their recent scores. One of them is kicking my butt (and most other butts as well) in the 7 challenge. |

Glad to hear this has been working out so well, Steve. Great idea! I'm happy to see other camps are continuing things via PM's and comments. |

i have beaten my average in 11 of 12 entries since getting advice from my "coaches" and i have learned some new processing and composition techniques that have certainly helped.

WELL since i'm almost at 4.9 i thought (with a suggestion from  yo_spiff) that maybe a generic "4.x" would be better until i cracked into the 5's. It's funny how much i watch that site average trying to get it creeping higher...
next spring i'll be FivePoint :)

Same here, but I'm getting close to my goal of a 5.5 average before the end of 2010. After 260 challenges even a strong 6+ does not make much change. The progress is measured in 100ths. I might hit 5.48 today or tomorrow. |

Not sure if anybody else is still doing this, but  colorcarnival, myself, and FourPointX still are. Reason I bumped this is because I was feeling sorta meh about entering things, so I challenged Joe and Michelle to a FS battle for the rest of the year. Scoring is based on your existing average when you enter for each month, and the highest differential between score and average wins for each month, with the winner of the most months being the overall winner.
Just an idea to keep things going, if any of the other participants were interested in duking it out with their coaches ;) |

I wouldn't mind being involved with this, however, I seem to fall right in the middle between being a coach and player. I have bouts of 5-6 and equally in the 4 range. Let me know how I can help.
