You guys need to remember that we all start somewhere, she was asking for help not a critique. She knew the photo was bad and wanted to make it a little bit better + it was not part of what the client hired her for and was an "extra" favor (with an underwater camera).

Take a look at some of my first photos on DPC, by entering challenges and asking for help in threads I learned alot, I don't remember people being so rude back then...

Thank you elspaso... I dont think it matters... people are gonna act how they want to....

I can't find your request...either from using the Contact Us page or via Report Post.

In any event, OP's don't "own" a thread. At this point, there is no reason to lock the thread.

It would be cool if everyone quit saying what a jackass everyone else is, though.

Damn. I didn't mean you, Caree. I meant those who swoop in and say we are as the fluff of dandelion and then flounce out, announcing thread on ignore. I resorted to indirectness/sarcasm in the interests of brevity.

You can caption it "Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water" ... in honor of this thread.

Actual picture aside, this is an attitude I'd be careful of with paying clients in the future. Taking non-professional, non-photography (?) photos during a session they've paid for is apt to cause you problems, regardless of how you delineate between the two. If the client was just a friend who you took some photos for and then were in the pool with, it's not as big a deal.
