I like how they've been saying for over an hour now that Isner's legs are too tired to carry him much farther.. (BBC coverage) |

Phew. 59 games all in the 5th set. Bad light stopped play. I was beginning to think I would need to stay up all night :) |

They'll try anything to distract people from the World Cup... |

I saw a couple of hours towards the end. Isner looked totally lacking in energy but just wouldn't quit. Sadly now I won't be home to see the end. It will probably be a big anti-climax though because they'll probably wake up so stiff they won't be able to play good tennis. |

SUSPENDED! I've been on it all day, a big tennis fan myself. The match has been suspended until tomarrow AGAIN because of darkness. Current score is 59 to 59 games in this run.

Okay, they're back on court. I wonder how much longer this can go on. |

I was watching it yesterday. This is hilarious:
//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Wimbledon:_Mahut%E2%80%93Isner_match
"The players have both set and broken numerous other Wimbledon and tennis records, including the Croatian Ivo Karlović's record of 78 aces in one match, which both players have surpassed."
Edit: 61:61 now. It'll never end!

What makes this match even more amazing is that it's a seed against a qualifier. |

Live on TV in South Africa. 64-63 and no signs of a break. |

Well it's over. 70-68 to Isner. He looked out of it physically for so long, I don't know how he did it. |

They asked John Isner about the doubles match he is supposed to play in about half an hour. If Wimbledon can't postpone it, there's no justice. |

he's got more then a half hour.. His doubles partner is playing a singles match & is in the first set still.... They also said that Querry and Isner have an agreement that Isner will not have to play if he's got nothing left in the tank.. Lets see if he can pull it out.. Hopefully he'll get a full day rest and he can decide tomorrow... |
