I'm not around that much to catch all the threads, but I couldn't find any mention of this anywhere...

I just walked into Barnes & Nobles to look for some new CS5 books and this book, Winning Digital Photo Contests, caught my eye. I started flipping through it and HOLY COW!!!

I saw shots by nshapiro, banmorn, susie, timfythetoo, and John White!!!

This one was really large and really cool

as was this one

Most of these were listed as Kodak Picture of the Day selections.

There might be more dpc'ers in there, but I've got to get back to work. Apologies for anyone left out of this note, and HUGE CONGRATS to those included! That is way, way cool!

dpc even got listed in the back as a 'weekly' challenge ;-)

I can't believe they didn't go with one of his shirtless photos.

That's amazing! Thanks for the heads-up, Skip. Though it's kind of an odd concept for a book. Maybe the subtitle should be ("For Little or No Profit") :-)

I'm a badass Google master :)

The query I used was this:

site:dpchallenge.com /forum "Winning Digital Photo Contests"

which essentially tells Google to search the domain dpchallenge.com for all forum posts that contain the exact text "Winning Digital Photo Contests"

I don't really see any reason why Landon couldn't just use an embedded Google search.. Although I certainly don't know much about what sort of bailing wire and duct tape this place is held together with... So.. It might be more of a problem that I would otherwise suspect..

forum search issues aside, it's still way cool to see these guys with stuff in print!
