Great photo ! Nice focus on the bug and I like the way the flower is soft. Very nice :) Do you know what kind of flower that is ? I took a photo last weekend of the same type of flower and several people have asked what it is and I don't have a clue. Here is my photo:

Excellent photo. The mix of brilliant colors and the composition is just great; I really like how you placed the bug in the frame. Keep up the good work.

WOW, I am impressed Laurie!!! Your skill and that new camera are creating some wonderful photographs. I don't like bugs, myself, but at least he's not too creepy! lol I LOVE that flower and how you positioned it, and the DOF you used. Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!

| Thank y'all for the comments...we have a new botanical and herbal garden in town that the County Extension Agency runs (it's about the size of an average front yard, but you have to start somewhere!) and I stopped by there last night after the downpour finished. There are tons of the local wildflowers and herbs, and I saw lots of creepy crawly and flying things but none would be still long enough to "pose" properly but this little guy! I want to go back over there when the sun shines again and get more. Thanks again! :o) |
