So I was going through an old cd of photos from a backup when we got a new computer at Christmas, and I came across these concert pictures I almost forgot I took! I was fortunate enough to be on the front row at a Toby Keith and Sara Evans concert back in October of 2001 and although I had a very crappy camera at the time, I was able to get some fairly decent pictures. If you aren't a country music fan, no problem...post whatever you have taken! :o) I searched the forums for one that showcased concert photos, and didn't find one, so I thought I would start one. Have fun!

OK, here's one of singer-songwriter Bob Frank taken at a show last year -- the foreground is my laptop as I recorded the show to disk ...

Here's one from the show last Sunday ... I made a "quickie" mock-up of a CD cover to boost the chances of his wanting to put out a CD from the show(s).

Shot my first concert this past weekend in Atlantic City at the Fuel concert. I had a photo pass that allowed me between the crash wall of concert goers and the stage. Most venues/ or bands allow you to shoot the first 3 songs only, then you have to move out of the photo area. I have a new respect for this type of photography. The pace is fast, and the changing light conditions were difficult to deal with. Was definately an adrenaline pumping experience. This is a shot of the lead singer, Canon D60, Tamron 90mm f2.8 lens.

keeping with the mood of this amazing guitarist and his drum/bass trio--grainy and in motion.
