One would assume this is a Yiddish word (why? well, just because it sounds Yiddish!) But I digress. Actually it is a pejorative used in Brooklyn, suggesting that the predicate involved is extraordinarily tight with money.

Instead we will revert to its original meaning which undoubtedly describes the condition, in Italy, when just one 'bot' could infect a il computer, colloquially, but still mostly (computer translated): "il cattivo computera BOTA".

Pulapulahoho - Technique used by the loosing team during a game of tug-of-war. When the winning team is pulling the rope with all their weight, the loosing team lets go of the rope causing the other team to fall on their butts. An example of the perfect pulapulahoho can be seen in the movie "Revenge of The Nerds."
