I don't think specific inspiration is needed for this one. Grab you camera, head out and see what interest you can find where you live. I think the street photographers are going to dominate this challenge.

It's because I don't do street photography enough, and I haven't been able to count on a shot from it. Not enough happening in this 'burb to be able to count on something good.

I think one could find interesting people shots regardless of where one lives. I have 2 big cities at my doorstep, but someone who lives in a small town might just have street photography that captures the flavor of a small town instead of the city.

For instance, do you have farmers market? Lots of great colors and interesting people. Show a stand owner haggling with a customer over an item, for instance. Lots to be found wherever people congregate.

I base my voting on the field. The best get 10 and the worst get 1 with those in-between spread on a continuum. It would be unfair to use a standard other than the field.
