Too much processing? Not enough? What was I thinking? :o)

I am not skilled enough to know the processing from the original. All I know is that the second one has GREAT immediacy in the top portion - excellent - but the bottom portion is far different and blown out. The bottom part doesn't seem to match with the saturation and texture of the top, if that makes sense.

i think it is great.. i dont see any heavy post processing which is good for the purpose you intended i think,, soft focus seems to work great with the first imeage.. i think it is a good effort overall..

I didn't have the greatest light this morning, about 30 minutes after sunrise...so I used the fill flash. That may be why the second one seems kind of washed out or something at the bottom. I'll work on that. I blurred the background on both, added some slight gaussian blur across the flowers, cloned a tad here and a tad there. I just didn't want it to look cartoonish or garish. Thanks for your help!!! :o)
