Hey all you dpc greenthumbs, I need help identifying this shrubbery

I live in Eastern Ontario near Ottawa. It's a perennial, the leaves are dark green, shiny, ovoid, slightly serrated. There are five petals per flower and they are a distinct peach/salmon colour. Very low-growing shrub, it''s maybe 2 feet high max, and spreads out.

Anyone?

It looks like some type of potentilla.

yes, i'd go with the flowering quince. watch for thorns.
