shutterstock just got a new employee to approve images and she is new and i think she may amke some small mistakes. for instance i didnt receive an e-mail for the last batch of pictures i ahve submitted that got approved. so sonifo i would e-mail support and tell them of y our problem i am sure they will help you out right away,. at least at shutterstock you dont have to wait to resubmit like other agencies.

I don't think they have that, although I saw a request for it in their forums so maybe they are working on it.

Did you leave the reviewer a note at the bottom of the submit area to let them know you were faxing the model release?

My reviwer didn't understand that you have 12 hours to fax the release... Please reupload - she knows now.
thanks!

You can create a lightbox and share it -- but we will make it so that you can advertise your photos easily.. working on that now.

We added 3 new servers - and 3 more are coming.. so this $10 inc per month is to pay off some hardware costs.

Jon, did the average number of downloads increase or is it just that you're getting a lot of new business and are able to bump the price (which is still a great price for unlimited downloads!)?

By the way, it seems there are a lot of people impressed with what you're doing here (I'm one of them!)...it really seems like response has been good both from submitters and subscribers!

What do you mean by a long time? Hours or days? Keep in mind that you're in quite a different time zone, they're probably sleeping while you're uploading things.

Andrea approves photos M-F 9-5.... so, weekends will be a lull.
I work on everything else.. servers, code, biz, etc.
But - everything will be cleared out by fridays.

I'd hate to see her in tray on a Monday morning! OMG

It will take her all week just to get thru all the weekend uploads! Poor person. Now that I know, I will try to upload during the week. That should help her workflow.
Or maybe hire a weekend person.

I've had five downloads, but of only two different photos. One is a photo I resubmitted after increasing the saturation - the original was too washed out or something (I can't quite remember the reason for the rejection.)

I had 10 dl on Friday, then not much during the weekend. I put together some more to ul during the week.

perhaps this is off topic from this thread, but has anyone got a download from bigstock.... seems like not to much is happening there... not to mention a painfully slow upload method.

Lately everything I submit is being rejected for "Too many like this on site not needed right now." Is anyone else getting this? Perhaps they should tell us what they DO want. I thought my uploads were fairly different????
