Hello again everyone...can anyone recommend a good magazine concerning digital photography that gives not only equipment reviews but instructional pieces on problems or techniques that we all can appreciate? I am not looking for one that goes with the masses or has their pockets padded by manufacturers...though I am sure they all do to an extent...but looking for people of all levels. I went to a local newstand and saw about 10 different mags from the US and Britain...some I recognized and some I did not.
Additionally, Kodak and others used to put out some pretty decent instructional books with nice glossy shots and detailed instructions and definitions for the novice or those more experienced alike. I think National Geographic even had a great one on Nature Photography.
Any recommendations would be appreciated. While I know that experience is the best teacher...somethings are much less painful and stressful when you have someone more experienced to help enlighten your skills..whether in person or in print. I am a prolific reader on a multitude of subjects...so a good book is more my style as I test and attempt various things.
Thanks again and any commetns are much appreciated... |
