After looking through several of the night shots I took for the Night Shots II challenge I have to ask myself, "What was I thinking?" These are a couple of my rejects...

...and my actual entry.

Feedback is always appreciated.

I like the second most. It's a real nightlife.

I'd second that - it's got a real depth to it that i find very appealing. the movement of the people and the style of the photo illustrates the life of the shop. Regrettably, it's infinitely better than the one you chose to submit to the challenge; it's very interesting, visually appealing and quite absorbing. Hindsight really is a bit of a bugger, isn't it?

The skyline picture is also a marked improvement - needs a little bit of rotation to get rid of the slope and it appears just a tad over exposed (the light in the top right tower looks a bit harsh) but that aside a good shot and is certainly better than the majority of skyline shots that were entered in this particular challenge. Can't decide if the "ghost" adds or detracts interest...

Thanks to all who responded. My hindsight choice is the 2nd shot. I'm really not sure what made me decide to submit the shot I did. Probably fatigue.

Reshoot the first one, and it is by far my favorite.
