Story


Just one of the family ... homo floresiensis.

SHE stands a metre tall, has a brain the size of a chimpanzee and her knuckles reach down to her knees - meet homo floresiensis, pin-up girl of the scientific world.

check out the story - this is what i call bizzare nature

Now that really IS bizarre nature! Truly an astounding find! To think they would still be here today if not for a volcanic eruption.

That's not a new species, that was half of my third grade class. Homo Frodosiensis... dang! I could have used him for the Hobbits challenge. Anybody know how to backdate an EXIF file by 18,000 years?

I guess we should try to keep this thread short. That is an amazing discovery indeed. I read that they found stone tools, evidence of cooking, and a beautiful ring with strange writing on it.

just another example of extreme scientific speculation... it's probably nothing more than a human midget or a human child...

I'd say your comment is more speculation than anything presented here. Do you always make immediate, flip judgements? Or is it just here in these forums?

wow!!!! very interesting
that second article is excellent too. i think this is a pretty cool finding, and obviously has huge significance in science. fantastic!

according to the article the picture above is a rendering of the male...but they found a female. Or so they say.
