I'm not doing so well after 40 votes.
This is a much better photo, IMHO. Never choose a photo when tired and sleepy.

I don't think this one quite fits implied lines. It probably would have done quite well in the free study though.

I can give this one benefit of the doubt given the cloud's perspective lines. It looks like a long exposure which caught their motion. Definitely fits the challenge for me, and I treat that as a "yes or no" only, then focus on the shot itself.

In this case, So much of the frame is dedicated to the sky that I would like to see it be more dramatic. A bit more drama would have given a more interesting reflection on the water as well. Granted, you can't control the drama of a sky (much), so it's not any technical fault. But, I do think this shot would have scored a 6 from me. It's more visually appealing than the average entry.

DOH! Maybe I shouldn't have posted it and used it in Free Study? :)

i think i wouldn't have had any issues with this one - for me the implied line is the gap between the natural harbour... i think it is lovely and particularly serene.

I also have the wrong photo in 'implied lines', fits the challenge well enough, just a lousy shot!
