| is there any way to retrieve your original photos, i had about 50 pics last night that i was playing around with, something happened to my computer...or "someone" happened to my comp, i dont know but now half of my originals are saved in B&W. is there any hope for me? |

Yeah, if you don't have the originals, you are what my daddy would have called "SOL." Sorry to hear about that...what a bummer for you. Maybe you can password-protect your computer? That sucks.  |

there is a way, if you haven't used your memorystick again since (even if you erased them from it), you can retreive them with a program called.. PC INSPECTORâ„¢ File Recovery. I used it once and saved quite a few photos. you can find it here:

Also worth a try for possibly recovering some of your lost images from your memory card is Data Rescue - I used it once and recovered over 200 images. It worked very well.

It's worth noting that photorescue is not free, while file recovery is.
