I am very curious how everyone would vote on this picture if submitted to October Free Study:

I cannot submit it to the October challenge, I took it on September 30. But I am curious.

5/6... compozition is nice but i dont like that peace of roof...

3 probably.

Doesn't do much for me at all, although the scene has potential so i could mark it lower as it seems you have perhaps wasted a good chance.

The inclusion of plastic guttering wouldn't help the cause either.

Would depend on my mood - 2-5 :D Currently I am in a bad one. hehe

Probably a 5. I would keep shooting this if I were you...As jonpink alluded, you could probably hit on something quite nice in this scene if you try different angles/viewpoints.

...and yes, the eavestrough is the killer!

I would probably score it 4/5 depending on other shot's in the challenge.
Keep in mind that this challenge runs for a month and everybody (well almost everybody) will send in his/her best shot.

It's a nice photograph, but it just has no wow factor, I expect very good photos in the free study....

While the shot has potential, I have to agree that the roof and gutter are a major distraction. I tend to vote high (hign numbers, not me personally) so I'd likely give a 6, maybe a 7...
