This is a sample of what I've been working on lately. I'd love to hear from other people that are into restoration. Please feel free to critique them if you like; need all the advice I can get. Also if anyone has any scans that they'd like retouched, I may be interested in doing them for free; I'm trying to build up a portfolio at present; please PM me.

Very nice work... i have done a few of these and I know how tedious it can be.....

Here's a before and after:

Before
After

This one was a challenge... it was a wallet sized photo and the buyer wanted 5x7 prints...

these were fun to look at, what an incredible job you've done.
i like to collect old photos from antique stores, some that could really use this, but i dont have a scanner. people think my old pictures of strangers are a little spooky but i think the spookier the better

Nice one John. Yeah it is very tedious. Have you tried Alien Skin's Image Doctor plug-in? I downloaded the demo and used it on one. I imagine it works much like the healing brush in CS - just guessing. Thanks for the kind words BTW.

If you can get them scanned at 300dpi or better, I'd love to have a look them. Thanks for the comment. :)
