OK... so I was at the zoo with my three young sons, when all of a sudden, my 5 year old says, "Look mommy, those rhinos are playing leapfrog!" Well, as a fairly smart cookie, I knew that was NOT going to be the case. I looked up, and sure enough, in front of God and everybody... Rhino love. My 4 year old said, "No, he's just going for a piggyback ride." As I struggled NOT to laugh out loud, and hold my camera steady (I'm sick, I know), my 10 year old just quietly muttered, "Oh jeez... I could have done without that." LOL
So here you go... Rhino Love. Don't want to submit it for Wildlife because it just isn't right. ;o)

The comment from your ten year old is priceless.
But, I think Wildlife is an advanced editing challenge. You would have been well within your rights to blur out the background in photoshop and enter this in the hopes of a blue.
Of course, had you done that, we would have been well within our rights to compare this to every one of Dr. Jones' shots in our comments, and give you a ten. It would be your highest score ever. Every time your kids looked at your profile you'd have to explain both Doctor Jones and the "leapfrog/piggyback."
Ahhhh well. Good fun missed. Nice shot BTW.

Its an interesting composition. I feel that it has been cropped a little tight and the background and the penis to be a little distracting. Keep up the good work pun intended 7.

The sign on the outside of their habitat said Black Rhino. I'm no expert, so I am assuming that's what they are. Maybe in 18 months there will be a third little rhino running about in that habitat. ;o)

Hmm, black rhinos are solitary animals (though obviously, they get together occasionally). At the zoo I worked at (volunteer guide) there is a successful black rhino breeding program, but where they breed them is behind the scenes. |
