I'm selling my Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5 EX DG Aspherical HSM lens for Canon SLR cameras. I've had it for about 3 months and it works great and is in perfect condition (except for a small scratch on the removable lens cap/filter cover). It's really been a great lens but I want to try something different now.

I payed $669 at B&H; my asking price is $569 OBO. If nobody is interested, I'll probably try to sell it back to the used department at B&H or Adorama or perhaps put it on e-bay.

Ask 'butterflysis' about it... she was inquiring about this very lens earlier today....

Haha, yea it's a fun lens. Too bad my stupid mid-range lens broke - having to sell this and take a little chunk out of my bank account to afford the damn L glass lens I want now. :'(

Thanks for the tip John, I'll see if she's interested.

it was a fun lens to use when i had it. i sold it a month and a bit ago.

saved a few more pennies and got the canon 24-70 f/2.8, which is a large beasty chunk of a thing, compared to my other 2 consumer-ish lenses.

It's got HSM focusing, which is ALMOST as fast as Canon's USM. For such a wide angle, you'll most likely find you are shooting with the focus set to infinity as anything farther than 5 or so is considered infinity.

Took some pics of the lens for the heck of it:

Only sign of wear and tear (note that this is on the removable lens hood and was not scraped while on the lens)
