Robin, I know you've spent a lot of time and money getting your booth and prints ready for 9th Annual Texas Country Reporter Festival in Waxahachie, Texas this weekend, I hope that you all have great success in your first non-rained-out event. I'm sure you'll do great!

Thanks so much for taking the time to pass on your best wishes :)
It will seem nice to have a festival that does not get rained on or blown away. Some of you may already know the first festival in June we attempted to participate in at Fossil Rim was a bummer. We got all set up and were getting ready for the opening when they canceled it. The winds were so strong they were blowing over the canopies and all the art work. However we have enjoyed every minute of it. We have made some great contacts and have met a lot of new friends.
We hope and pray the Texas Country Reporter Festival goes a lot better :)
This is the first time we have participated in the Texas Country Reporter Festival. Last year they estimated a crowd of 20,000 and they say this year it is going to be even larger. They have a number of free concerts (Local Talent) scheduled for the two stages they have setup.
We are suppose to be there around 6:00am Saturday morning and setup by 9:00am and it will probably be long day seeing as how it runs until 8:00pm.
If any of the local DPC members are in the area please be sure and stop at our Canopy.
Thanks again Danny and we only wish we could be with you this weekend :)
