I just submitted my touch entry and the thumbnail looks terrible, a lot worse than the thumbnail for my neon entry (see below)! It looks like jpeg compression. Is there anyway around this problem?

Hope that people don't vote based on the thumbnails. You can rarely much from thumbs anyway. The best and worst images all look very similar in the thumbs.

Only when you get it big, big, big can you see the true quality of the best images.

As long as your submission image is fine, don't worry too much about the thumbnail.

Thanks! I'll try not to worry about it - but its REALLY bad. I'm not completely satisfied with the shot anyway, perhaps I'll try something different.

Might not be a bad idea, though it is a good picture --

While discussing the pictures before hand is not technically against the rules, it is generally accepted that entries not be discussed beforehand. If you want to take the pic. down, that would be fine too. :-)

pssst....that's a past entry....not the one she's going to enter....;)
