My favs are the sepia/duotone images. Great expression and contrast. Also, the backlit one is nice. Good exposure and composition.

The one with the old truck, to me, has too much clutter in the foreground.

Holy Moly, that's one of the cutest things I've ever seen!! These are great! The sepia toned ones are nice, I especially like the one in the haystacks (though maybe just a little soft on the face and eyes in particular). I like the truck background shot alot, I could see how the forground could be distracting but I think it adds to the rustic-ness (okay, probably not a word) of the shot. The first shot just gives alot of little attitude that just makes me smile. I think you did some great set-ups here. Very cute and any parent would love them!

I just rediscovered my love for photography and would love to take photographs for a living in the future...would you mind giving me a quick history of how you got to the point where you were able to do this for a living? It would be super-helpful!

I dunno... the ones in color do more for me than the sepia shots. I love the slight redish tone in his cheeks. And the colors really are beautiful.

I left comments on the two color photos. Excellent work!!!

Cloud, I have actually shot for most of my life. I have a BFA from the art institute in chicago. So I reall am a painter and a artist. It has kinda come naturally in my life. (At least something has) But I guess that just makes my design and color eye pretty good. But believe me, I am as critical of what I shoot as anyone. I have worked, and made money for other studios, for a few years now. But this year, I started my own portrait business, and it has gone wonderfully. I have pretty much had a shoot everyday just from word of mouth. You cant ask for more? I guess if you just take pride, and love your work, people will want you to shoot them! Hehehee! That was kinda funny! I also try to give people something that they havent yet seen.I hope that helps? I am no good writer, that talent passed me by!
