Very nice shot. BTW, it's a damselfly... I made the same mistake when I posted a picture of one into a challenge. |

Damselflies and dragonflies can be very difficult to capture. This pic seems to be a bit oversharpened though.

I was just about to say "oversharpened" myself. You have my sympathy though, having spent two afternoons last week trying to get pictures of a dragonfly who refused to stop flying... /sigh

I am also going to say something about the sharpening and background blur affecting the outer edges of the subject, however, I fully appreciate how hard it must be to get a shot like this, I don't have any. I tried for 2 hours to get a shot of a bee and never did get a good one! Overall I think you did a good job shooting it, the processing is the only issue.
