Oh well. The 2 vote 9.000 was short-lived. Dropped to 8.000 with 3 and now down to 6.800 with 5, and back to 7.000 with 8 votes.
Gonna' be a fun ride!
Now I can relax, accepting my normalcy.

I hit a 5.8000 at 45 votes.. then dropped to 5.786 at 46 votes.. but it seems for every drop I take, I have 5 or 6 votes that lift me up. I'm hoping for a 6 by morning :)
Hey.. how are you liking the *ist D? I have a Pentax film SLR and a Sigma 70-300mm Super Macro II lens, and I'm pretty sure if I go DSLR, it's either the *ist D, or the next Pentax (and, with my budget, probably the *ist D as the price will fall a bit hopefully). I've heard some bad reviews on it, but want to get it from the mouth of an owner :)

I absolutely love the *istD!!! It's quicker and easier to use than the Canon Rebel D, and the build quality is superb. I can sing it's praises all day. I have the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, and that's an amazing lens too, and within most people's budget. |

That may have been true until everyone with cataracts & 7 year old monitors came in during the night and voted.
Now down to 5.6111 with 72 votes.
But then again that's about my average, so who knows, maybe they are right on.

I'll give this thread another bump I suppose :)
Yesterday at 45 votes, I was 5.8000
After that, I bounced around a lot and gave myself an ulcer. (Insomnia mixed with O/C is *not* a good combo).
Right now, at 130 votes, I once *again* hit 5.8000
Lovin' it. I hope I can still be excited over a 5.8000 in a year from now. lol

I am a little surprised that my entry is doing poorly. I thought it was interesting subject matter and clearly backlit. Well, there is always the next challenge:)

Started at 5.1, now sunk to 4.69 with 142 votes......have had a couple of lovely comments though. Am heading out over the wkend to work on the next challenges......have got an idea for mirrors but can't for the life of me work out how to do it............or where to get the models I need!! Minor details LOL
