I'm curious to know what you think of this one. I had a really tough time deciding if this was interesting enough...and did the backlight really enhance the photo?

Ohhhh, I love this. I think the backlighting is perfect. The fish is in just the right spot. I would post my outtakes, but I only tried one shot at different angles so I don't want to reveal which is mine. It's only fair.

I can't post any outtakes, cause all my outtakes are of different ideas to the shot I *did* post.. so, like kcwhisper.. I can't reveal which one is mine :) I might when the challenge is over though (arrrggh.. going to be a long week).

I like the fishbowl shot too.. pretty clever:)

Here's my outtake.

I liked it but was sure it would be graded down because of the flare and all. In the end finished with a totaly different pic and I'm doing quite well so far.

What do you think? What would you give it?

Argh, I took 3 diffrent shots for backlighting but forgot to submit.
Well, I was not very happy with any of them so maybe it was for the best.

Sorry Wu...typed this response to the wrong photo.
Hmmm...I like this idea of getting down at ground level. It's something I certainly didn't think of for backlighting. The flare from the sun is quite bright and really distracts from the picture...but good overall. I'm not sure what I would rate it. I take the week to think about my ratings.

I really like both of those, but particularly the "Autumn" one. The backlighting really adds to that shot.

I was very keen to submit to this challenge but the way things worked out I didn`t get anything I was happy with.

A couple of outtakes..
I cropped this one after deciding not to submit which is why there isn`t much evidence of the backlighting in it.

Wish I'd entered this...

The shot I entered is bombing!

Interested in feedback on this shot..

This was taken in July, unfortunately the business seems to close for the winter. :(

you probably shouldn't post your out-take before the challenge is over. It's VERY obvious which photo is yours.
