Shame I shot this too early:
Well, maybe not. I stiil have a few tricks up my sleeves...
(Actually the not-so-compressed image looks a lot better.
Just trying to save a little space in my portfolio)
It was taken at the new Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio.
I can picture that (pun intended) on the cover of something
promoting the new town center there.

Here are two shots I was working on but decided they were too artsy and grainy for a "travel guide" photo.

Is that taken using an in-camera multiple exposure setting? and.. if so.. is that legal because it's in-camera?

Can't you people wait until the submission deadline before you post outtakes, I think it is inconsiderate of other members wishing to enter. If you don't think it is inconsiderate well that doesn't surprise me either. |

I don't see, nor understand your point here.
I simply did this as a "darn - didn't shoot this within the time frame".
It was posted so that others can get ideas also.
Simply that.
Careful about mudslinging. Doesn't go over very well.

Still remember the big stink about this exact subject a few weeks back...

Maybe I was raised differently to you where I come from you respect your fellow members.
"Careful about mudslinging. Doesn't go over very well"
Would you like to elaborate this statement a little further as I have simply stated my point of view if your not happy with that don't accuse me of mudslinging. |

I must have missed whatever hubbub there was earlier on the forums about posting outtakes before the challenge has begun. Could you please let me know how that is disrespectful to other members? I just entered this challenge and don't personally see any problem with the photos that Brad and Jason have posted above.
I'm not picking a fight or defending either side, just wanting to understand what the issue is so that I don't do anything that might be interpreted as disrespectful. Thanks!

Hi Tim,
My reply was concerning this statement:
"If you don't think it is inconsiderate well that doesn't surprise me either."
Maybe I took that wrong, but that implies that I am an inconsiderate person, and I took offense to that. I am not an inconsiderate person by any means, and actually quite the opposite. I was simply sharing an image with other members here, and a compositional "for instance" regarding the challenge.
Your objection is noted regarding the issue and will be more considerate in the future.
Regards,
