would this 'Ikornea' company be using "L" glass from canon, or develop their own really expensive... well... er... eyes?

$50/year and you don't need to click update as it does it automatically every time you get a vote, it opens a popup, sends you a text, pages you and gives you a running average with the predicted next vote :)

Welcome to the update gang Joe ;)

...and logs it in a spreadsheet for later analysis, LOL. Sign me up!

I'm not exactly sure.. but I *do* know that you'd have to assemble it yourself!

In the warranty, it will quote:

"Ikornea corporation is not responsible for any damage caused to the product or 'surrounding person' during installation of said product. If user is not comfortable in their ability to install this product, please contact an authorised installation agent."

authorised installation agent = optometrist.

And a retracting lens cover complete with dust filter and a 5 frame per second strobe...no wait, that's already available on the base model.

Hmm, Camera Eye, Third Update Hand, Interface intracranial chip (Wireless of course), What else....

Aha! An alternate function for the Update hand: Inkjet Printer! Inktanks in the forearm, nozzles in the hand (disguised as pores, of course). Just wipe your hand across the photo paper and access the jpg file, and voila! Instant print!

Three men, an American, Japanese and Irishman were sitting naked in the sauna.

Suddenly, there was a beeping sound. The american pressed his forearm and the beep stopped. The others looked at him questioningly. "That was my pager," He said, "I have a microchip under the skin of my arm."

A few minutes later a phone rang. The Japanese fellow lifted his palm to his ear. When he finished he explained, "That was my mobile phone. I have a microchip in my hand."

Paddy felt decideldy low-tech. So as not to be out-done, he decided he had to do something just as impressive. He stepped out of the sauna. He returned with a piece of toilet paper hanging from his arse. The others raised their eyebrows...

"Ah will you look at dat," says Paddy, "I'm getting a fax."
