Hey Cool Cats!
I dloaded a few actions but am unable to figure out how to load them. Any thoughts on where the load action button is?
Need help!

A screen shot would help me out a lot!

On the palette with the action tab there is a little right facing arrow on the upper right. Click it. |

on the right hand side of the screen, next to the history tab, is an action tab. click that and scroll down to the action you want to use. open the image you want to use, select the action, then press the "play" button on the bottom of the pallet.
ta da!

The question though, was how to load them. If you look at his screen shot the arrow I mentioned is above the blue scroll bar on the right. You may or may not have a scroll bar and it may or may not be blue but the location of the arrow button is the same. About half way down on the resulting menu will be "Load Actions..." |

Copy the action file to C:/Program Files/Photshop ?/Presets/Photshop Actions. Then, from within Photoshop, go to Load Actions in the Actions palette menu (right-click on the little arrow at the top of the palette to access menu options) and navigate to the Photoshop Actions folder and load the action. You should then see the particular action in the Actions menu and then you are ready to apply it to an image. To apply it highlight the particular action and then click the Play Selection arrow at the bottom of the palette. Another easier way to use actions is to set the palette to Button Mode by going into the Action palette menu and selcting Button Mode. This makes it a one-button-press action. I hope it works for you.
