I can't believe it. It is finally here. The new equipment I ordered.
Here is a pick.
I am sorry for the image quality, but I was in a hurry!
I know you can't quite tell, but that is a mark II:)
I also know that any die hard Canon fans are going to want to know
where the L glass is. Sorry but I had a budget to work with and I went
with more lenses instead of more expensive lenses. Don't get me wrong,
I would have perfered L lenses. But this is what I got and I am happy.
It consist of 4 Sigma lenses.
12-24mm 4.5-5.6 DG EX
24-70mm 2.8 EX
120-300mm 2.8 EX
105mm 2.8 EX macro
2x sigma EX
A three stage extension tube set by Kenko
The other things are just filters and memory cards. Oh yea, there is
also a remote swich for the camera, an extra battery and new tripod
for when I go outside the studio. Which I CAN FINNALY DO! For those
that don't know, my last setup wasn't exactly mobile:)
Anyway, this is shaping up to be a great week.:)
Everybody have a great day:)

The tripod I got is the Bogen set with the 3001-pro legs in black, and the head is the bogen 3030 pan tilt head with quick release. I went with this set up because it works good for what I do at work. |

I probably spent the same amount, but my order is even MORE portable, and came with a 3 year, 36,000 mile Toyota warranty. :-p |

With the name of this thread, I was envisioning Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal in that famous restaurant scene from When Harry Met Sally... LOL
Congrats - that is an awesome display of power. But be careful, with great power comes great responsibility... :o)

That is not funny...trying to give an old man a heart attack seeing all that new Canon equipment laid out. You should be ashamed of yourself...and mail it to me, it's far too good for you and to complicated.
In fact, I am going to sulk now!
Well Done, nice kit! |

I can't believe this thread has gone to 10 messages without G4Ds posting his first picture with his new goodies. C'mon man, pictures are worth a thousand words. |

... yeah - I'm also intrigued by road layouts and architecture, so if you could upload a map of your street and 3D view of your house (with annotated windows and entry points) that would be fascinating. |
