I know cheap attention seeking title, though still true.
Looking for some posing advice/ samples. I'm taking some shots of a couple of friends and an US athletics hall of famer tomorrow. Curious for some suggestions on how to pose the three of them - so it is 3 guys, 1 of them is the 'famous guy' and the other two want to be shown with him.
Any samples, cool ideas, thoughts would be great. Still don't have that mouch portrait experience so it is all good... I'll probably have 5 to 10 minutes with them, maybe less and they will probably be in running gear.

No offense meant, but...
The first idea that popped into my mind when you mentioned Running gear was a picture of the Famous guy, on a running trail or a track, with the other two on the ground, holding him by the ankles. I'd call the shot "Hangers-on"
I know, it's not that useful, but it was the first thing that came to mind. The second thing is the Famous guy being carried on the shoulders of the two others.
Perhaps somewhere in the back of my mind something's saying, "If they want to be in a picture with him so bad, they should pay for the privilege." |

Hmm. Well, that's helpful.
I'm now thinking maybe get the two guys to crouch/ hunker down in the front and have the third behind them standing, hands on the shoulders. Should give a reasonable 'triangle' shape between the heads.
