Please tell me what you think about my eyes...well, they aren't mine, but you get the point.

Does anyone have a critique for me on either one?

The second image is stunning.

I don't like it as well as the 2nd one.

Ok, just a little Monday am humor.

The first image is ok but there's just someone about it that is distracting to look at. It doesn't have the same impact as the 2nd image. Maybe if you included less of the model's face, that would help the viewer focus on the eyes more.

I like the first one better. Reminds me of Kathleen Turner. If you wanted draw more attention to the eyes you might try adding more clouds in the lower half or fading the lips more.

I like the second one quite a bit - the effects outside of the "box" are great and I like the colors. The focus on the iris seems a bit soft to me - I think it would jump out more if it were sharper. Also, the highlights in the eye are rather amorphous - when seeing an eye this close I'd like to see something more recognizable.

I left you some comments. Great work you have!

Thank you all VERY much for the comments and critiques.

Here's a thought about #1: I like it a lot (I like the idea) and I find the way the clouds and the lips "interact" a bit distracting. Just wishing they didn't come together like they do.

How do you think I feel Gary...I'm IN the military.

One time I was lost for three days, but nobody knew it! That's because for the accountability formation they saw a bush and thought it was me. When I finally got back they didn't want me anymore. They told me the bush worked harder.

I like the second one so much ! The first one is more "common" in my opinion , the clouds and the face are nice but there is no "game" between them. Blueye Abstract is a really an interesting work ! Congrats ! (Please excuse my poor english !)

Re: Your first pic. Try cropping about mid-nare on the nose. I think you find the result everybit as stunning as the second pic. It will still have that benign face in the sky look even without the Mona Lisa smile, but the eyes will "jump" you.
