Greetings...
In my recent interests in photography, series work has become more interesting to me than it has in the past. I have really enjoyed //www.28mm.org even though it doesn't update very often.
I have decided to try to put together something similar to that, but different at the same time. Duotones.org will be a site where series works in black and white, as well as toned, will be displayed with information about the photographer and the series itself. I am in the process of collecting photographs to display for the opening on September 1.
If you are interested in black and white photography, and have themed sets of photographs (6 photos to a set), you may be interested in displaying on this site. If you are interested, check out the 'contributors' page on the site for information on submitting sets of photos...
Cheers :)

Great idea -- I love working in duotones, especially from having used them in (offset) printing. My first intro to "serious" photography was with someone who was working in black and white.
I don't think I have a set of photos now, but I'll be interested in the future, and seeing what people post.
My uncle just sent me a link to 28mm, so I guess it's time to check it out : ) |

Neat idea John,
I have a passion for this kind of imaging and I'm sure you will see my name come your way.
Not an Ansel Adams here, just a car guy:
Just a few out of my B & W Portfolio

I have some duotone flowers. Would that be okay? They are pretty! I will see if I can get 6 of them done asap! Let me know if flowers are ok to use...

John, I plan on putting together a series of shots from my vacation for you. Give me a week to put them together.

I just want to learn how to do duotones. Okay, I know the steps, I want to know how to make them look good! Will you be posting any tips on your new website?
