Thanks to everyone who left positive feedback on my Blue challenge submission. I think this, of 7 challenges, is my second favorite image. Oh, and I DO know how to use a camera.

I like it too but not many voters apreciate this kind of creativity and would probebly say the blurred flower in the foreground is OOF or something silly like that... did you try it with the OOF flower cropped out?.. did it loose the impact??.. i like it myself but i have been a victim of blurry foreground before here so i will not try it again.

i cannot talk about creativity and originality.... most of my shot is perfectly clean studio shot... and i make the first 25 position, when i try to make original artistic shot, nobody understand (almost nobody) and i get the lowest score i ever have.... go figure!...

When I saw the thumbnail, I did think I was going to see a blurry picture. When I opened it up to full size I was able to see reflection and it changed my thoughts dramatically. I agree that a lot of people don't appreciate this type of art, but even worse is that a lot of people will vote on the thumbnail instead of the picture. And a lot of the time the thumb is clearly not what the entire photo is.

I gave it a 10. I almost missed the purpose of the shot. Just thought that the whole picture was blurry. Gave you a 10 when I saw the sharp reflection. Good work.

Yeah, 10 1s and 31 2s? As if I didn't meet the challenge or something. Heh, oh well. I'm gonna hang it on my wall anyways:)

Not if you are on dial-up. You look at the thumb, click it, click your vote and yet the actual full-size JPEG hasn't even loaded 2%. Now click your browser's Back button to return to thumbnails, repeat as desired.

It is a good argument to not display the voting options until the image has completed loading..

No problem! Just bundle the voting options with the menu script and you're done. ;-)
