What about all the upwards and downwards adjustments? Do the formulas still work? (No, I don't care enough to do this; just curious. The update button is fine for me!)

In light of another thread...calculator bad, abacus good! WHy can't you guys just use the beaded counting machine and not all that new fangled technology that requires batteries and pushing buttons!...hehehehe
Anyway...you people are sick. I know a few psychiatric evaluators that would love to get hold of you. And I know of a few "rest areas" you need! (C:
Laurie, you are right....math = the devil

I thought I was a bit sick tracking it by pasting it over into an Excel spreadsheet, and letting the script do the work, but I feel much better seeing the work that folks put down on paper, you are really sick:)

Ecce Signum,
I see a wet spot on your notepad! Is that a tear drop? ;)

Hmmmmm....I never really keep track of my scores, BUT I am a comment junkie. I look to see if there are any new ones, with great words of wisdom I can glean from. Of course the "pat on the back" comments are always nice too.

This information is, apparently, as addictive and sought after as crack cocaine. If Drew & Langdon were smart, they'd offer a web service that streams this info to an RSS feed. You kooks could download your progress from a WAP enabled phone in real time. Goobers! |

I would just like to say thank you... You see, my husband thinks I'm obsessed with DPC. I now have solid proof that my time spent on DPC is simply a healthy outlet for my creative photography endeavors and that there are others who are much worse off than I. I'm positive that he will be just as thrilled as I am with this latest discovery! |

Pure genius, only offer it as a text message. Every time a new comment is added send it as a text, new score text. Yes, finally a cure for the update button> |

The Vanishing point challenge is hard. I did watch my score at work today as it went up and down then down and down and have to admit to using the calculator once today. Wonder of wonders it was for a 10 :) but probably the only one :( but I did walk home happier.
I have not used the calc tonight and will try to abstain at work tomorrow ;) Its good to share my 'problem' with others similarly afflicted.

That's right... admitting the problem is the first step.

My name is kirbic, and I'm a recovering score-recording addict. I am very proud to report that I did not record a single digit of any score for either of my (double-ribbon-placing) entries last week! There is hope for us all!

The thought never once has occured to me to waste time counting and calculating my scores. I'm more interested in checking back for comments than to look at my score. Funny how we all think and work differently. |
