I just signed my little girl up she has a Sony DSC-U60. All you get from that is a .jpg file. dos that mean she can not enter the challenges?

I don't understand your question. .jpg is all the site will accept, I do believe.

yes her. I know but for varification she has no .nef or raw file.

There are a lot of cameras that dont have .nef or .raw files. You send your original file from the camera as proof in the format that the camera takes it in. If she shoots in .jpg then upload the .jpg for proof.

then how do they know if it was unedited? with an nef or raw file there is info in the file. hmmm. ok cool. That will make her happy.

there is Exif data in the original jpg file
