Last week the Bush campaign insisted on acquiring the race of a photojournalist from the Arizona Daily Star assigned to cover a rally in Arizona that VP Dick Cheney was to speak at. The managing editor of the newspaper declined to give the information and a spokesman for the campaign said the information was needed for security reasons. He also said that the Indian photographer, Mamta Popat, would probably be allowed to attend and photograph the vice president. So then what did they need that information and what were they going to do with it?

Oh, so you are one of 'those'. Well, I am sorry, you aren't free these days. Yeah, you see we have been altered that the 'Terrorists' are actively recruiting people like you, in your age category. Sooo... that means we have to question *every* single thing about you.
What are you again? Oh, an average Caucasian between the ages of 18 to 35.
In case nobody here noticed, about three weeks ago there was a short blurb about how the office of Homeland Security had discovered that the 'Terrorists' were looking to recruit Caucasians from 18 to 35 years old. So, don't be alarmed if you are taken away for questioning if you match that description.
Here's a question: What other nebulous war has the United States been fighting for nearly 20 years with no end in sight, even though we 'know' who the 'enemy' is? If you answered 'The War on Drugs' give yourself ten points. What's the difference between 'The War on Drugs' and 'The War on Terrorism' when you boil it down, not a great deal. Both have been used to negatively impact the rights of American Citizens, both have been used to justify new governmental powers, both have no end in sight.
'The War on Drugs' is a huge self-sustaining industry. The people, at the top, "fighting" this war have a vested interest in the war never ending. As long as that war lasts, they have money. As long as that war lasts, they have 'special' powers. Why would anyone want to 'win' a 'war' that would take all of that away from themselves?

Im glad I am out of that demographic. Im too old to be a terrorist.
