Hi!
I'm relatively new to the site, and have finally (maybe:) gotten up the nerve to enter a photo. I have a question, though, before I can do that... For the submissions, you have to enter the aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. I think I've figured out where in my metadata the aperture and shutter speed are listed, but can't figure out what data would correspond to the ISO. I'm using ACDSee (came with the camera) if that helps. Thanks a lot, as you can tell, I am fumbling through this trying to learn! |

ISO refers to the "speed" of the sensor in film terms; I don't know where to locate that in ACDSee.
But, that info is not required to submit the photo, so if you can't locate it, go ahead and submit the photo anyway. You can always add the information after the voting in the form of a comment.
Welcome, good luck, have fun!

My camera doesn't give me the ISO either. I'm not sure if I have something turned off or what. I almost always shoot at 50 so it's not too big of a deal.

On my camera and in Irfanview, the ISO shows up as exposure index or as sensitivity. See if you have those readings. :o)

In ACdsee just right click/properties and the iso is there along with all the other details, ie. shutter speed/date/fstop
Must be the original unedited file ( which you must keep intact) to retain it.

According to this dpreview article, you should be able to see the ISO setting on your camera's LCD.
Like soâ€Â¦
