has anyone ever done a survey on the above?
would be interesting to know.

Don't need a survey for that, need a database query ...
Might as well ask for all demographics while we're at it ... might be an interesting set of stats to put on the "About DPC" page for new visitors.

All joking at Jacko's expense aside...there seems to be a great disparity between tasteful photographs of nude men vs. women on this site...and I am sure my DPC sisters will agree.

That's cause women are all soft and pretty and nice, and men are mostly just excess hair and elbow skin.

I agree with your observation Laurie.
But....men and women alike agree that the female nude is far more beautiful than the male nude.
The male in me says thank god it's like that!

It means the VAST majority of members don't want you to know what's under the lens hood. Privacy and all that.

Well, personally, gender doesn't really make a big difference to me when it comes to rating photos. I mean, after all, we can't see the name of the photographer and even if we did, chances are pretty good that they would be of the NULL group anyway. But does it really make a difference who took the shot male or female? I feel that the photo should stand on its own merits but credit should be given to the photographer for creating it. OK, that's enough babble from me. :)

My thoughts on a Nude2 were that if the men photogs out #'d us gals, our shots would be at a disadvantage, if they were of men, since guys would be voting the images of women higher than the images of men. They'd rush right past any pics of guys to get to the next set of boobs...lol
Maybe seperate "Nude Male" & "Nude Female" challenges ;)
Seperate voting would be interesting to see how the guys voted compared to the gals on the same set of pics.

Very interesting thinking and a good idea. As far as Male vs. Female nudes, well I'm all for the female nudes as Pedro said, "They're all soft and pretty" but I'll take some of grigrigirls male nudes A-N-Y day! :-)
