Well, they did the judging this morning and of the 8 entries I had I placed with 6 of them! WOOT!
Okay, Here are the placings:
1st Place in Children - Color
 Without the border
Nature - Color - Did not place
2nd Place - Animal - Color
1st Place - Anything Else - Color
Anyother - Black and White - Did not Place
1st Place - Animal - Black and White
2nd Place - Nature - Black and White
1st Place - Children - Black and White
Soooooooooo, not too bad my first time out. Now, I know that there weren't a hundred other entries here but still, I feel good that of the ones that were there mine were recognised! ;)
The girls did well also, Ellie took 1st for color animal and 2nd for color people
Melissa took 3 1st place for her shots!

Thanks everyone.
Gale took the shot of Impress (the horse) and made a bunch of signs for the stalls at the fairgrounds that talk about biting and such. It's so perfect.
The prizes are a few bucks for each place, nothing grand or anything but hey, it covered the cost of printing them up and the frames (dollar store specials) and I'll spend it on vacation!

Correction:
Without border
Took 1st place in Color - Nature!
The ribbon was under the picture and when they opened the cards to reveal the names they put it out! So out of 8 pictures I entered only one did not place! I'm thrilled to say the least.

I am entering some photos and artwork in the county fair as well (next week). I don't care about the money. I think it will be cool to win a ribbon.
