A few of the pics from one course on the golf trip I took last week in Northern Michigan, USA (home to some of the finest tracks in the world - biased but factually supportable opinion!).

Thoughts/comments?

Nice shots, I think some may look good in B&W, especially thehouse-sm.jpg and thehouse-3sm.jpg.

thehouse-3sm.jpg is a bit centered, maybe crop it differently?

shameless bump for different crowd (almost no views so far). Where are the golf nuts around here?

Beautiful! What time do we tee off?
My fade to the right would get me in alot of trouble there, I'm afraid. I guess I'll have to put my driver away and play smart. Something I don't do very well. lol
So, I guess you would highly recommend this golf course?

Beautiful set of images...I love the house. Gorgeous! Very 3D feel. Unfortunately, I know nothing about golf except for Putt-Putt (miniature golf). I did take the class back in college for a PE credit, but never held a club...LOL ;o)

Good shots, the course looks interesting, rough seems a bit hard, did you play? (I wanna golf right now....)

Don't have a tee time set yet, but it looks like I'm heading back to that area next Wednesday or Thursday - still planning. :-) Have a chance to play Crystal Downs CC which is only about 10 miles from the course in my pics (Arcadia Bluffs) and is rated in the top 20 in the world. Might play AB again as a tune-up, although there are a number of great courses in that area.

I would recommend Arcadia Bluffs for the scenery alone, although the golf is also fantastic. When you play, don't shelve the driver, but don't miss the fairway either!

I played 36 there last Friday (July 23). That's me in the picture "finishsm." That was the second best course of that trip...the best was the Kingsley Club, it's a brutal, fantastic course (think Shinnecock). Far more difficult than Arcadia. Doubtful that I'll ever play there again because it is very private (10 people played it all of last Saturday, my group was 3 of that 10).

These are absolutely gorgeous. The textures just plain 'rock the cashbar'.
