I visited Red Butte Gardens yesterday morning before work and took these pictures. Any comments, criticisms? Anything you'd do different?

Waterfall is excellent
I think the bridge could use a (wistful?) human as a point of interest
I also think the sunrise is excellent - I would like to see it without the frame

David,I agree with Ian, the waterfall is stunning.I personally don't care for the frames they tend to detract from the photographs but the images are all beautiful.

Those are just gorgeous. Love the one called Synergy. I agree with the others; lose the frames. Beautiful work! :o)

| Very nice work David. I really like Synergy. But your frames are a bit much. Maybe they would look more appropriate on large size prints but are a distraction in web size where we are already very limited in what we can see of our photos. |

Interesting comments. I just learned how to do frames last night. I especially love the one on the sunrise. So I was excited to use the frames for these images.
Of course, on a "print" (where you'd use a real frame) I'd have to remove the frames. But the point about the frames being a distraction in web sized images really hits home.
I agree with the comment about the bridge ... In fact, I think a stunning model would have completed it. :-) Truth be told, there is too much overhang from the tree in front. So I'd have to change my position to include a human element. But I'm sure I would have figured something out had a "volunteer" been available.
The Synergy one required a bit of photoshop magic to get it to look right. The original is too dark. I shot the image in raw format and then pulled 3 separate exposures out of it ... one for the sky, one for the mountainside and one for the hands. Then I combined all three in PhotoShop for just the right effect.
