What software do you use to view images? I don't mean what you crop and edit in, but just viewing your images in a "folder" like format. In which you might be able to do mass resizing. Ulead has some nice programs. |

I use ACDSee & Nikon Browser/Viewer & sometimes Photoshop's File Browser. I don't do mass resizing but I do Batch Rename in ACDSee. |

Irfanview
None better for speed and ease of use (freeware too). Open an image in a folder, hit enter to full-screen it. Then you can hit the space bar to go to the next, etc. L to rotate left, R to rotate right. Great default viewer with a few editing tools too!

If all I'm doing is viewing, I Look at them in Filmstrip view in Windows Picture and Fax viewer. It lets me next/previous, fullsize, zoom, rename and delete, and If I'm lazy I will click the slideshow option there to view the whole folder while having a cup of coffee. It don't get any simpler. |

I'll second that Irfanview vote. I've been using it for years for it's speed and simplicity. Fairly frequent updates for freeware too. |

acdsee - allows quick culling of crap images, auto rotates images, and allows captioning and keywords.

The Picture and Fax Viewer that comes with Windows XP. Easy, simple, and free. I don't view and edit at the same time. |

I do my initial review of shots in iPhoto, to pick out my candidates for post-processing and submission. The slideshow and rating functionality in version 4 make this pretty easy.
Until my copy of Photoshop arrives I do editing in GraphicConverter. |
