I made a trip today to Butterfly Conservatory in Cambridge, the one in Ontario, Canada that is. I had a great time, took a lot of shots. Here are a few butterfly shots:

I also made a lot of macro shots of various flowers, the one below is my favorite:

What do you think ?

Andrew, I am on dial up right now, so I only brought up your first butterfly, as that one really attracted me first. I love the striking colors and how the flowers mimic the same lines and movement of the butterfly. Really cool look to my eyes. The wings are a little too out of focus on the right IMHO. Great, beautiful photos!

Left some comments...those are just gorgeous! Maybe you should do a "How to Photograph Butterflies" tutorial for the rest of us! :o)

You really have a way with macros. Extremely good shots - couldn't be better. Left a comment, also.

AndrewTo: Those are quite good. Gorgeous shots?
Can't wait to try taking some butterfly photos myself.

Where is Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory? I'm thinking of going to the one in Niagara Falls and do the Niagara-on-the-Lake on the same trip.... very picturesque sceneries leading up to Niagara Falls.

Henry, you have to take highway 401 in the direction of London, Ontario, pass Guelph. You will see signs to Butterfly Conservatory, I do not remember the exit number but if you watch the signs it is very hard to miss. Once you exit highway 401, you drive for about 14 km and you're there.
