Oh, it won't be until my birthday in October...I have time to plan. Where will it hurt the LEAST? Or where a few alcoholic beverages might make me believe it hurts the least? LOL

I have several tattoos and I've noticed in the bonier areas it doesn't hurt as bad...But the ankle doesn't count for that..lol. I have one on the back of my neck in the middle of my chest and on my left shoulder blade and on my lower back. The one on my lower back hurt the worst.

I think I might still have some pictures of my tats on a yahoo profile.

You gotta go for a yellow rose, Laurie. :-) I've been thinking about a nice, big Buddha on my lower left cheek, but I still don't have approval from my smarter half. :-)

I thought about that, but wouldn't that be just too trite??? I also thought about a little Texas, colored in like our flag, but then again, TRITE! Even a bluebonnet...I don't know. I keep hoping I'll see a picture that just blows me away!!

Buddha would be very cool. Cheek...wouldn't that hurt like Hades????

Interestingly I just got a request from the S.F. Chronicle wanting to interview people who had gotten tattoos, and now regretted it ...

I would regret it if I had done it at 20...like everyone else in my sorority did. But now, I think I want one. Like a rite of passage, you know? I am woman, hear me roar! LOL

Just remember you're a Libra, not a Leo ... besides this is DPC -- no cats allowed.

i can tell you that a tattoo just below the small of your back will hurt like hell! then again, the one on my shoulder blade hurt pretty bad, too. just breathe through the pain and you'll be fine. :)

My son actually is going to pick photography for a subject next year. I am happy because it is such an awkward age and this way we both have a similar interest so I can keep an eye on him and also be a friend and photography partner. :o)texttext
