Purple blues - Comments/critiques please

Here is my entry for Purple and two alternates I had considered entering.

After more than 180 votes and over 220 views I only got one comment on my entry. I know the score puts it in the "quiet zone" for comments, but I'd really appreciate some honest (harsh even) comments. Please leave comments in the photo for posterity. :^) Also, do you think either of the alts would have done better?

Thanks! As far as the lighting goes, it was sunlight filtered through blinds. It looked really nice, but it was difficult to translate into the camera.

Left a comment on your entry. It's better than the two alternates. I like the third alt, like the lighting and composition.
