1. Get home from work take shower.
2. Borrow father-n-laws new cam to test.
3. Driver to lake to see friends.
4. Drive all around lake sevaral times can't find friends.
5. See smoke in the distance.
6. Drive to where smoke is.
7. Burning wheat fields off.
8. Lets take some shots.
9. Turn on camera.
10. !@#$%^&*!!!!!
11. No memory card! |

A better #3...
3. Check camera battery and CF card
You're not the only one. The default settings on my 10D will let you take shots without a CF card. Been there, done that. :)

We are looking forward to seeing the results!! We just had some bodacious storms here in Colorado... hope they pass you by before you're ready to shoot.

You forgot two:
12. In a fit of rage, drive the car into the lake.
13. Climb out of lake, wet and smelling like a dog, and eat camera.
